BlackRoom Sessions is structured so that every Black man who attends knows why he’s there, what to expect and what happens at each stage. Below is the full flow from booking to receiving your content.

1. Booking Your Place

• BlackRoom Sessions is pre-book only.

  There is no “just turning up”. Everyone inside the space has confirmed in advance that they are there to create content.

• You buy a BlackRoom ticket.

  This confirms your place at that edition of BlackRoom Sessions and gives you access to the venue and the booking system for filming slots.

• You choose your filming option.

  When you book, you select one of:

   

  • Self-shoot (you film on your own phone/device), or

  • Pro shoot (you work with the BlackRoom videographer: raw or raw+edit, depending on the package available).

• You pick a time slot.

  You choose a 20-minute slot from the timetable.

  That slot is the time your room will be reserved for you to film, not the time you must arrive at the venue.

• You receive a booking confirmation.

  This includes your slot time, your filming option and what you need to complete before the day.

2. Consent, ID & Forms (Before the Day)

To keep everyone protected, there is a simple but firm admin layer.

• Age & identity check.

  Anyone who will appear on camera must provide valid ID and basic details. This is private and used only for verification and consent.

• Content consent form.

  You confirm that:​

  • You understand the nature of what you’re filming, and

  • you agree to follow BlackRoom rules on respect, boundaries and confidentiality.

• You are happy to appear in adult content,

• Package-specific agreement.

   

  • Self-shoot: You confirm that you are filming on your own device and that BMM/BlackRoom does not hold or distribute your footage.

  • Pro shoot: You confirm how your footage will be delivered to you and that it will be deleted from our system after delivery.

• Promo permission (optional).

  You decide whether BlackRoom may use a short, censored teaser clip for future promotion. Saying “no” does not affect your booking.

All of this is kept as light as possible but is non-negotiable. No completed forms, no filming.

3. Arrival & Check-In

• Arrival window.

  You can arrive at the venue before your slot time. You do not need to walk in exactly at your filming time.

• Check-in with the BlackRoom host.

  On arrival, you check in with the named host. They:

   

  • confirm your name and slot time,

  • make sure your forms are complete,

  • answer quick questions about the process.

• Time to settle.

  Before your slot, you have time to:

   

  • get comfortable,

  • talk to other guests,

  • find or confirm a partner/collaborator if you wish,

  • think through what you want to shoot.

There is no rush and no pressure. You are treated as an adult who knows why he is there.

4. Before You Enter Your Slot

As your slot time approaches:

• You are reminded by the host.

  The host will give you a heads-up before your slot so you can wrap up any conversations and get ready.

• Co-performer check (if relevant).

  If you’re filming with someone else:

   

  • they must also be checked in and verified, and

  • you both sign a simple co-performer agreement confirming that you are both happy to appear together and how the footage can be shared between you.

• Final questions.

  This is the moment to clarify any last-minute details about how you want the session to run (for pro shoots) or ask about using stands/tripods (for self-shoot).

5. During Your Slot

When your slot starts, the room is yours for that period.

• Private access.

  Once you enter for your slot, no other guests are allowed into that space until your time ends, except the videographer if you booked a pro shoot.

• Self-shoot option.

  If you chose self-shoot:

   

  • you use your own phone or device,

  • you can ask the host for basic support with stands if needed,

  • you manage your own angles, content style and boundaries.

• Pro shoot option.

  If you chose a pro shoot:

   

  • the BlackRoom videographer is present for your slot,

  • you explain what you want captured (no faces, certain angles, specific actions, etc.),

  • the videographer focuses on framing, stability and making sure you get usable footage within the time,

  • the session stays within the limits you’ve both agreed.

• Consent and comfort first.

  You are free to stop, pause or change direction at any point within your time if you no longer feel comfortable. The room is for you, not the other way round.

• Time awareness.

  The host or videographer will give you a brief notice when you’re close to the end of your slot so you can wrap up cleanly rather than being cut off mid-scene.

6. After Your Slot

Once your slot is over:

• You gather your things and leave the room.

  You take your device and any personal items with you.

• Room reset.

  The BlackRoom team quickly checks and resets the space for the next slot. This is why timekeeping is tight – it keeps everyone’s experience smooth.

• You return to the main space.

  You can relax, socialise further, or, if agreed and available, book an additional slot at a later time (subject to availability and rules for that edition).

7. Receiving Your Content (Pro Shoots Only)

If you booked a pro shoot:

• Footage delivery.

  You will receive details on how your footage will be delivered (for example via secure link or transfer) and the expected timeframe.

• Edits (if part of your package).

  If you paid for an edited version, the videographer will:

   

  • cut and arrange your chosen clips,

  • make basic corrections (within what was promised),

  • prepare any included teaser.

• File deletion.

  After your files have been delivered and the agreed period has passed, the working files are removed from our system in line with our privacy policy. BlackRoom is not a long-term storage service.

8. Behaviour & Boundaries (Always in Effect)

Throughout the entire process:

• Respect is non-negotiable.

  No pressure, no coercion, no ignoring boundaries. “No” is final. “Not sure” means pause.

• No filming outside of BlackRoom.

  Content is only created within your assigned slot and space. Secret recording of others anywhere on the premises is strictly banned.

• Discretion.

  What you see, who you see and what you do at BlackRoom Sessions is not gossip for social media or group chats.

• Black-centred, Black-only.

  This experience is created for Black men. That focus is not up for debate.
