Bruthas Escape 2026 is Black Meat Market’s first international retreat and we’re doing it big.
From 15–18 May 2026, we’re taking over Gran Canaria for a four-day, three-night experience that blends rhythm, heat, and unapologetic Black freedom.
This is a curated getaway for Black gay, bi, and open-minded men who want more than the usual. No stiff schedules. No pretence. Just pure connection, good energy, and unforgettable nights in one of the most iconic islands in the world.
Expect sun-soaked pool parties, intimate villa socials, and nightlife takeovers where BMM brings the atmosphere, and you bring the presence. Whether you’re vibing by the pool, cruising the night, or making new memories under the island moon: this is your time to feel seen, sexy, and celebrated.
Each day hits a different frequency: from laid-back beach hangouts and private dinners to spontaneous linkups and signature BMM events. You’ll meet bruthas from across the UK, Europe, the US, and beyond, including solo travellers, crews, first-timers, and regulars; all drawn together by the same rhythm.

Thursday 14 May: The Warm-Up
Early Arrivals • Chill Linkups • Optional First Night Out
Touchdown and tap in. Whether you land early to soak in the island breeze or just want to get your bearings before the full weekend kicks off, Thursday is your soft landing.
We’ll be hosting a casual welcome hangout for early arrivals: think beachside drinks, linkups by the pool, spontaneous meetups around town, and the first hints of chemistry.
Later that night, we might tap into a local nightlife spot or sauna for those ready to start things with a bang.
Friday 15 May: Official Start
Check-In • Welcome Mixer • Detty Night One
Spend the early part of the day settling in: hit the beach, get brunch with new bruthas, grab drinks by the pool, or just rest and recharge.
In the evening, we host our Official Welcome Mixer: a vibe-forward gathering where everyone connects, flirts, and sets the tone for the weekend. No stiff intros, just good energy and smooth entrances.
Later that night, we turn it up with our first night event at an underground club
Saturday 16 May: Villa Vibes & Midnight Moves
Daytime Villa BBQ • Pool Games • Detty Night Two
Saturday is all about pleasure, play, and peak energy.
In the afternoon, we escape to a private villa for the Bruthas BBQ: full food, flowing drinks, wild poolside games, cheeky surprises and some sun-kissed flirting. A perfect mix of chill and charged.
After sunset, we return to another underground, where the dancefloor gets wilder, bodies move looser, and the darkness does its thing. Come oiled, come hungry, come free.
Sunday 17 May: Water, Skin & Heat
Private Boat Cruise • Beach Afterglow • Sauna Closing Night
Sunday daytime is all about that ocean fantasy. We board a private boat cruise with open bar, music, water games, and stunning coastline views: imagine bruthas in swimwear, sweat and sea spray, rhythm and release.
Once we dock, we drift into a beach wind-down for anyone who wants to soak in the last sunlight and cool off together.
Later that evening, we gather for a more sensual, slow-burn finale: a closing event at one of Gran Canaria’s saunas. It’s the final stroke, the last deep breath, the intimate goodbye.

The official escape winds down, but the connections don’t have to.
Monday is unstructured: some will head to the airport early, others will linger over brunches, balcony goodbyes and beachside hangouts. No pressure, no plans. Just a chance to say your goodbyes or make them last longer.
