Bruthas Escape 2027 is Black Meat Market’s first international retreat and we’re doing it big.

From 30 April- 03 May 2027, we’re taking over Gran Canaria for a four-day, three-night experience that blends rhythm, heat, and unapologetic Black freedom.

This is a curated getaway for POC gay, bi, and open-minded men who want more than the usual with just pure connection, good energy and unforgettable nights in one of the most iconic islands in the world.

Expect sun-soaked pool parties, intimate villa socials, and nightlife takeovers where BMM brings the atmosphere, and you bring the presence. Whether you’re vibing by the pool, cruising the night, or making new memories under the island moon: this is your time to feel seen, sexy, and celebrated.

Each day hits a different frequency: from laid-back beach hangouts and private dinners to spontaneous linkups and signature BMM events. You’ll meet bruthas from across the UK, Europe, the US, and beyond, including solo travellers, crews, first-timers, and regulars; all drawn together by the same rhythm.

Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is the island’s main international airport.

From the UK & Europe:

Direct flights available from London (Gatwick, Luton, Stansted), Manchester, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, and most major European cities.
Carriers include Ryanair, EasyJet, Jet2, Vueling, British Airways, TUI, Iberia.

From the US & Other Regions:

No direct flights. Connect via mainland Spain (Madrid or Barcelona), or major European hubs (London, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam).

Gran Canaria is part of Spain, and thus the Schengen Zone.

UK Citizens:

No visa required for stays under 90 days.
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

US, Canada, and non-EU Citizens:

Visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism (check your eligibility).
Ensure you meet Schengen entry conditions.

Africa, Caribbean, South America:

Visa requirements vary. Please check with your local Spanish embassy or consulate.
