Where heat, hunger and chaos meet Black joy.

 

The BMM Cookout + Water Wars is our unfiltered summer gathering — daylight, bodies, food, water, and pure Black energy.

It’s the one event where everyone drops their guard, steps outside, and taps into the most playful side of BMM.

 

It’s a cookout at its core: fire on the grill, Black dishes, spice, smoke, laughter, music, hugs, linking up, reconnecting, meeting new people.

Then, when the sun hits right, the Water Wars begin: water guns, buckets, hose pipes, soaking shorts, wet torsos, mischief, and that loud, carefree, “I haven’t had fun like this in years” feeling.

 

It’s social, sexy, chaotic, and wholesome all at once.

It’s for the community Black men and our wider circle who want a day that feels like summer's end meets a BMM day party.

House, garden, park… wherever it lands, the vibe is the same: warm, vibrant, playful, and drenched in connection.

 

BMM Cookout + Water Wars is not about performance.

It’s about letting go, linking up, and having the kind of day that leaves you smiling (and soaked).
