About The Event
The month begins with a collision of two worlds: African heat and Caribbean signal. AfroHeat × Island Signal, in collaboration with Faggamuffin, is the opening night of Black Meat Market’s Black History Month celebrations: a full-scale club takeover that unites heritage, rhythm and erotic energy under one roof.
From the drums of Afrobeats to the riddims of dancehall, soca and bashment, this night is a living soundtrack of Black culture across the diaspora. Expect DJs from BMM and Faggamuffin who know how to keep the floor in motion, bodies swaying, sweat glistening and every corner alive with energy.
Lighting will stay deep and moody but with bursts of colour that match the music’s pulse. Drinks flow all night, the crowd stays bold and unapologetic and the vibe builds until it hits fever pitch. AfroHeat × Island Signal isn’t just a dance; it’s a declaration of rhythm, identity and Black joy.
